1. What Data We Collect

Short Answer: We do not collect your personally identifiable information (PII).
The app’s core functionality runs entirely offline and requires no internet connection to use. Therefore:

• ❌ We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
• ❌ We do not collect your precise location data.
• ❌ We do not collect device identifiers for ad tracking.
• ❌ We never use any third-party advertising SDKs.

2. How Data is Stored

All data generated within the app (e.g., test records, new word logs, mock assessment scores) is stored locally on your device:

• 📱 Stored within your device using Apple’s native sandboxing mechanism.
• 🔐 Inaccessible to any other apps or network services.
• 🗑️ When you uninstall the app, all related records are automatically and permanently deleted by the system.

3. Does Data Get Transmitted to Servers?

Our core service has no servers; all vocabulary assessment logic runs locally on your device:

• ✅ No account registration or forced login required.
• ✅ Practice data is never uploaded to any cloud service.

Note: If you enable iCloud backup on your device, your local app data may be backed up to your iCloud account. This is governed by Apple’s official Privacy Policy.

4. Third-Party Services (In-App Purchases & Subscription Management)

To provide you with a clean, “ad-free, one-time purchase” experience, we process In-App Purchases (IAP). To do this, we integrate the following necessary and secure third-party service:

• ✅ RevenueCat: We use the RevenueCat SDK to verify and manage your “One-Time Purchase – Premium Edition” status. RevenueCat only processes anonymous purchase receipts provided by Apple. It does not collect or associate your real identity information (e.g., name or Apple ID).

Other than this, we do not integrate any third-party services:

• ❌ No ad networks (e.g., ChuanShanJia, GuangDianTong)
• ❌ No intrusive user behavior analytics SDKs (e.g., Umeng)
• ❌ No social media sharing SDKs

5. Device Permissions

We adhere to a “minimalist tool” principle and focus solely on vocabulary testing without overstepping boundaries. This app does not require any of the following sensitive permissions:

• 🚫 Photo library access
• 🚫 Location services
• 🚫 Local Network permission

6. Children’s Privacy

This app is primarily designed for adults preparing for various English exams or evaluating their English skills. We do not intentionally collect personal data from children under 13. In fact, we do not collect personally identifiable information from any users.

7. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to comply with the latest Apple App Store review guidelines:

5. 购买与付款

5.1 购买模式
本应用采用一次性买断制，无订阅周期、无自动续费、无隐藏收费。完成购买后，您将在当前设备永久解锁高级版全部功能。

5.2 交易处理
所有内购均通过 Apple App Store 安全通道完成。我们仅集成必要的支付验证工具（如 RevenueCat SDK）以核对 Apple 提供的匿名购买收据，不收集、不存储任何您的身份或支付信息。

6. 知识产权

By downloading, installing, or using the English Vocabulary Assessment 2026 (hereinafter referred to as "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Application License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. User Accounts

• • Creating an account is not required to use the App.
• • Assessment records, new word logs, and learning settings are stored locally on your device.
• • You can delete the App at any time to clear all associated data.

4. Application Features

Standard Features:

• • Core English vocabulary test and evaluation tiers
• • Automatic new word log archiving and review
• • Basic mock evaluation mode and proficiency tracking
• • Fully offline operation; no internet connection required

Premium Features (Unlocked via One-Time Purchase):

• • Full access to all vocabulary banks (including Basic Vocabulary, CET-4/6 & Postgraduate, IELTS/TOEFL/GRE, and Workplace English), core prediction papers, and targeted modules
• • Advanced vocabulary growth analysis and personalized proficiency reports
• • Local data encryption and secure storage
• • Ad-free, clean usage experience

5. Purchases & Payments

5.1 Purchase Model
The App operates on a one-time purchase model with no subscription cycles, no auto-renewal, and no hidden fees. Upon completion of purchase, you will permanently unlock all Premium features on the current device.

5.2 Transaction Processing
All in-app purchases are processed securely through the Apple App Store. We only integrate necessary payment verification tools (e.g., RevenueCat SDK) to validate anonymous purchase receipts provided by Apple. We do not collect or store any of your personal identity or payment information.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the App and its content (including but not limited to vocabulary data, assessment algorithms, interface design, definitions, icons, and layout) are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer

• • The App is provided solely for the purpose of English vocabulary evaluation and learning reference.
• • The word bank content and test results are compiled based on general language education syllabi and evaluation models. We do not guarantee that all assessment results will exactly match or be equivalent to official English proficiency exams.
• • Actual language examination results are subject to official publication. The App does not constitute any official certification, qualification guarantee, or employment/admission commitment.
• • The App is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App (including but not limited to exam failures, loss of study time, or data misoperation).

9. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party websites or services.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. The App is designed with an offline-first approach and does not collect or upload any personal identity data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
